扶輪典範(The Rotary Model)業已被證實有極大的成就，舉世皆認可的一樁大事，即扶輪最有價值的供獻在於根除小兒痲痺等症的活動，該成功事蹟即通稱的『扶輪典範』。

A model has been used with enormous success and the world recognizes that Rotary’s most valuable contribution to the Polio campaign was to create what is known as “The Rotary Model”.

扶輪典範能使得在世界各地幾百萬的兒童於一個星期內接受疫苗之接種成為可能。在扶輪參與該活動以前，很少有舉辦大型、昂貴且非常困難的活動。現在大量接種疫苗活動，又稱全國免疫日簡稱『NID』，變成一項例行、有效益且幾乎是輕易的活動。事實上，每個國家都知道該如何去運作。

The Rotary Model makes it possible to vaccinate millions of children in any country in a single week. Before Rotary involvement, mass campaigns were rare, expensive and exceptionally difficult. Now mass vaccination campaigns, also known as National Immunization Days or NID’s, are routine, cost effective and almost easy. Virtually every country knows how to do them.
